Write Better Screening Questions with ThinkDoodl’s Flashcards
© ThinkDoodl Limited
Since our last post, we’ve received a lot of inquiries about screener question design, from newbies to experienced researchers and product teams looking to sense-check their approach.
It reminded us that screener design isn't something everyone is taught. Many people learn through experience, guidance from colleagues, or simply by figuring it out as they go. That was certainly my experience early in my career.
To make things a little easier, we've created a set of Screener Question Flashcards.
Each flashcard shares practical examples of which questions to ask, and which ones to avoid. Use these flashcards as a quick reference when designing your next screener questionnaire, or share them with colleagues who are learning user research.
Whether you're recruiting participants for usability testing, interviews, surveys or product testing, we hope these cards guide you to design more effective screeners and recruit participants who add value to your research.
